Dandy's World is still in Alpha, and BlushCrunch Studio ships changes constantly. That makes any "latest update" page go stale fast, so this one is date-stamped: checked 5 October 2026. Where sources disagree, we say so rather than pick a winner.
Dandy's World is a mascot horror survival game by BlushCrunch Studio. You pick a Toon, drop into Gardenview Center with up to seven other players, fill Ichor machines and descend floor by floor while the Twisteds hunt you. Roblox currently lists it at 7.4 billion+ visits with roughly 4.6 million favorites, which puts it among the largest experiences on the platform.
The version string on the official game page reads 0.28.1, and that is what the community wiki and several Roblox game mirrors reproduce verbatim:
The caveat: version trackers disagree. A changelog mirror shows a 0.28.4 entry dated 26 September 2026 (removed Brusha's Toon of the Week, fixed Gigi's ability elevator bug, fixed sticker wheel interaction with skill checks), while other mirrors still render 0.28.1 or the older 0.27.1 Profiles notes. Roblox's own "last updated" field also reads anything from 16 to 26 September depending on which regional mirror you load. If you need the authoritative string, read it off the game page in the launcher — don't trust a third party.
Toon of the Week #5 featured Gigi, running 18 September to 25 September 2026. The rotation gives one Toon a balance pass, limited-time quests and exclusive cosmetics. Gigi herself is a permanent Rare Toon who first arrived on 28 September 2024.
Three requirements, all of which must be met before she appears in Dandy's Store:

Her ability, Surprise!, grants a random item from any tier — including stock normally sold at Dandy's Shop — on a 60-second cooldown. Cooldown-reduction trinkets such as Ghost Snakes In A Can and Sweet Charm are the usual pairing.
Progress carries across runs, so you don't need to finish any single quest in one session. No official end date was confirmed for the quest board.
The Twisted rework is the most gameplay-relevant part of the patch:
Two achievements were added to the Journal alongside this: Stockpiled Stash (Gold) and Stash Searcher (Silver).
The Halloween Event runs from 2 October to 6 November 2026 (3:00 PM ET start). It is the current event on the schedule and the most likely source of the next round of seasonal content and codes.
Open Dandy's World on Roblox and read the changelog block in the description on the game page — the studio writes the version number and bullet notes directly into it. Community trackers lag by days and, as above, don't always agree with each other.
