Slayers 2 is an action RPG built around waves, upgrades and bosses. The combat is readable but the build choices matter, and a bad early pick slows the whole run.
Frontline classes survive mistakes; ranged classes trade from safer angles but need more positioning discipline. If you are learning the game, start frontline.
Weapon level and the primary damage stat do more work than cosmetic rarity. Spend early cash on the upgrade path that matches your class before chasing the biggest number on the shelf.
Every boss attack has a wind-up you can see and hear. Walking through the fight instead of reacting to the wind-up is the difference between a 2-minute clear and a 10-minute wipe.
Aim assist sensitivity is adjustable in settings, and the Shift toggle is worth turning off if it feels sticky. Tune it once per session rather than mid-fight.
