Jujutsu Shenanigans is a compact combat game: chain your M1s, mix in the 1-2-3-4 specials, and win the neutral game before the other player finishes theirs.
The basic melee combo is four hits. Learn the spacing of each swing so you do not overshoot into a whiff, because the recovery window after a missed hit is where most fights are decided.
Every special in the 1-2-3-4 set has a different startup. Trading specials at random loses to anyone who blocks; holding one for the exact frame after an opponent's whiff wins most rounds.
Dodging cancels your own recovery, which means a perfect dodge turns a bad trade back into a winning one. Practice the cancel timing in an empty server before taking it to a real match.
Play the same matchup until it is boring. Replaying four different styles teaches you four things; replaying your mainmatchup teaches you one matchup very well, which is what the ranked ladder rewards.
